Wallpaper's For Desktop&Biography.
Wreaths of greeneries, fruits and flowers have always made great crafts and decorations on doors and other parts of the household. These adornments go way back, as early as the time of the ancient Greeks and Romans, when people used to wear wreaths to display their rank in society.Grass, raffia and vines are some of the common materials that the rings of wreath are created from. Flowers’ stems have to be cut at least three inches short before being attached to the garland. Before a flower wreath is made, long grass is first gathered and wetted down in order to shape it. The grass is then bound, ideally with floral wire, twine or fishing line. The flowers are bound separately with floral wire, leaving some larger buds separate for a more creative effect. To complete the flower wreath, the bunched flowers as well as the single buds are bound over the grass already settled into the wreath.
Rose Wreath - The Various Types
Wreaths made of roses offer a fragrant and elegant hanging decoration for different special occasions. A Christmas rose wreath can also work as a candle ring and serve as a table centerpiece. Making them requires cutting the stems of five pieces of red and five pieces of white roses to three inches. After grouping them into the desired arrangement, they are glued onto an artificial wreath made of baby’s breath or similar ferns and left to dry overnight. People who prefer a longer-lasting rose wreath can make one out of paper using red cardstock. The cardstock papers are cut into thick spirals, rolled from the outside and pinched to make small, realistic roses.
Floral Wreath - Heart Shaped
Heart-shaped wreaths with faux flowers can be great additions to wedding decorations, particularly on the church aisle. To make a floral wreath of this shape, a floral wire is bent into a circle and wrapped several times with the wire and the center of the top is indented. The leaves are wrapped around it first, then the stemmed flowers. Additional flower heads should be glued onto any bare spots of the wreath. The bottom where the wires’ ends are knotted together should be covered with leaves or a ribbon. The same ribbon can be attached at the indented part at the top using a glue gun.
